About Claire

I am an SEND consultant who is passionate about empowering young people to achieve their potential and thrive.

 

I’m a married mum of three children and we live in Hertfordshire. By advocating for my own child with SEND, I also have first-hand experience of the processes and challenges families face.

With over 20 years experience as a qualified teacher, senior leader and SENDCo, I provide a wealth of knowledge and expertise, including being part of the panel of experts who make decisions in relation to EHCP applications, special school placements and transport.

 

I support families nationwide and have experience working with many different Local Authorities, including Harrow, Brent, Barnet, Ealing, Hillingdon, Hertfordshire and Buckinghamshire.​ I have prepared and submitted countless successful applications for Education, Health and Care assessments, providing advice regarding a draft EHCP and making changes to provision via an annual review. This has included securing specialist placements, where applicable.  

 

I am a friendly and approachable consultant with a vast range of experience supporting pupils with autism, ADHD, visual or hearing impairment, learning or communication difficulties, medical issues and physical disabilities. I help parents to access effective support from external professionals such as speech, occupational and physio therapists, as well as paediatrics, educational psychologists and other specialists.

I focus on building strong relationships with parents, teachers and pupils and work in partnership with all to determine the most effective provision and outcomes for your child.
